Meet Our Team

Our team

At Velocity Physical Therapy, our mission is to empower individuals to achieve optimal health and mobility. We are dedicated to providing personalized care that promotes recovery and enhances physical performance.

Brittany Young-Sanchez PT, DPT

Clinic Owner

Therapist and owner, Dr Brittany Young-Sanchez grew up in the rural town of Barron, WI.

Dr Britt has a passion for the outdoors, country life, coffee shops, entrepreneurship, coaching, traveling and her boys activities. Her passion includes health and well-being; physically, emotionally and mentally.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science at UW - Madison and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at UW- Lacrosse.  Her education and clinical experiences across the United States fueled a passion for helping people overcome their physical obstacles no matter how big. After moving back to the Midwest, Brittany opened Velocity Physical Therapy and has enjoyed the journey of entrepreneurship and getting to know her community. She specializes in cases that are either complex or encompass multiple areas of recovery. This genre inspired her pod-cast, The Human Behind the Science. Treating humans requires recognition of mind, body and soul while you are applying the proven techniques of physical therapy. While Brittany works mainly with out-patient orthopedics, she has a specialized population of concussion, neurology, vertigo as well as both young and experienced athletes/teams. Brittany works with her patients to help them find what is important and motivating to them and how they can embrace it during their recovery. She loves seeing people smile, heal, and get back to doing all of the things that they love!

Bauer is Brittany’s dog and he comes with her to work to keep everyone in the clinic company.

Bauer is such a sweet and loving boy and loves meeting everyone who comes into the clinic!

He understands not everyone is a dog lover and gives those people their space.

You'll most commonly find him in Brittany's office and occasionally roaming the clinic with patients make the request to have him as part of their session.

We always check in with everyone present in the clinic before letting him roam.
